Oilers have been the better team for the vast majority of this series. It really should be over already..... Panthers need to dust themselves and play for their lives

Paul Maurice is just another Alain Vigneault.
Stubborn to the core, refusing to adjust.

If they lose game 7, he's about to be sent into the abyss like Ted Nolan.

Just does not make sense, Floridas game was play hard, give you no time and space and out work you, one of the few teams capable of beating the oilers.

And now there starts are just awful, theres no pressure anymore, they dont skate or work hard anymore, its like they celebrated the cup after 3-0 and went on vacation.

Silver lining…maybe Vancouver won’t be associated with the worst choke in Finals history anymore.
Getting absolutely eviscerated by Vegas last year and getting eviscerated to an even worse degree by Stuart Skinner and the McDavids a year later after going up 3-0 is likely the worst experience a human being can ever have as a sports fan. It's literal hell on earth. Satan would cry.

It's not even debatable. This would be only the 2nd time in NHL history that a team blew a 3-0 lead in the cup finals, and the last time it happened was during WWII.

Actual historic shit that will be talked about for decades.

Oilers are taking it.

I've seen nothing from Florida the last three games to convince me otherwise. Oilers have them boxed out with nothing getting through to Skinner.

They are just completely stifling them at this point. Bob has gone full pumpkin just like last year.

Now we get to watch Gazdik wet himself over their performance.

I mean part of it is that it's incredibly hard to maintain that level for his long of a run.

But you'd think here at the precipice that they'd be able to muster up a last-ditch effort.

I also don't think they are as injured as they were last season (Tkachuk broken sternum) or as we were in our run. So that can't be an excuse.

Both Maurice and AV are just steady rudder coaches who have no answer when their (definitely good in the regular season) systems get countered in the playoffs.

It’s the result of something that can change the trajectory of a franchise entirely. What the hell happens in the off-season when they blow this?

Bill Zito will have 23 trades ready to confirm by Monday 9pm PST.

...and that's where Paul Maurice ugly head comes crawling in.
He refuses to adjust his 'game plan', I think with everything on the line for Monday he needs to adjust. Someone has to tell him.

Florida needs to be motivated for game 7, Maurice has to adjust.
Not sure what they were thinking after winning game 3, were they trying to celebrate how to raise the cup?

You let Montour walk.

You offer Reinhart 2M less than what he's asking for.

You straight up fire Paul Maurice.
