I'm fairly accurate, or at least have pretentions of being able to identify articles or writing, music, images and other media created by AI, but I don't have a feel or even an understanding of how a bot can be posting on here. What's the tell for that kind of thing?

This is off topic, so mods please move to where it might be appropriate. Thanks

Yeah, I would say someone lacks hockey experience if they can't see that. It's great hockey. Edmonton is speedy and offensively dangerous while Dallas is a very heavy and high end skilled team. Both playing stifling defence. Game on!

I feel what you are describing is conventional hockey wisdom. The Oilers seem to be defying it. And I don't like it one bit.

Their writing style seems oddly robotic and just seems to be recapping some article they’ve read recently.

Oilers have Kane, Perry, Nurse, and Draisaitl. They are an unlikeable bunch.

We are right back to the early 2010s where unlikeable teams are perennial winners.

Kane, Toews, Bolland, Keith

Marchand, Recchi, Colin Campbell, Lucic

Brown, Doughty, Richards,

Impending UFA Jack Roslovic isn't helping himself in these Cup playoffs so far. It's rumored that he'll be a healthy scratch tonight, as Kotkaniemi draws back in for the 'Canes.

Roslovic was a guy the Canucks were linked to at one time. But based on what we're seeing, it might be better for some other NHL team to 'over-pay' for him.

But just goes to show--there's virtually nobody on the UFA heap who'd be any improvement over Suter.

Can EP40 deal with physical post season play like FLA/CAR is handing out?

I think Carolina needs to do a major retool, they've now been at this level for what feels like 10 years and have not come close to getting over the bump.

I dont get it. Isnt Aho an elite forward? Their defense is solid. Anderson maybe not the best goalie to have with that kinda talent. Looking through their forwards maybe not as deep as a top contender. Maybe they should go after Marner and Bennett

As cliche as it may sound, they don't got a game breaker, someone with transcendent ability. They traded for Rantanen, who most definitely is, but then dealt him away. Matthew Tkachuk is, Rantanen is, McDrai are both game breakers - Aho is not.

Rod's system suppresses Aho's offensive higher end IMO. They are constantly trying to roll 4 even lines too instead of concentrating talent.

Agree in part

They desperately need another aho down the middle and the system becomes stronger

Not at ahos level but william karlsson could be good there behind aho, so would nazem kadri

They fill their building and consistently win round/s in the post season all while continually having excellent prospects in their system. They operate exactly how their market dictates. They do not need an overhaul.

Carolina is the Thornton era San Jose Sharks.

Their top players just cannot elevate their game.

The difference between the two is San Jose should’ve won a cup if Thornton ever played the post season at his regular season level. Carolina’s best guys just don’t have that extra gear - they do a good job of showing you exactly who they are in the regular season, and their game doesn’t change at all come playoff time, for better or worse.

When Aho and Slavic are your best guys, you need to be extremely deep to win it all, and the Hurricanes aren’t quite there.
