Other than the 3OT, I wasn't really impressed with either NYR or PIT tonight. They both looked sloppy, maybe it's just rust. I haven't been impressed with the 100-point teams in the East all year, to be honest. The lack of competitiveness for playoff spots down the stretch probably has something to do with the lack of intensity.

I have seen two goals scored within 30 seconds of each other enough times t stick it out for 48 more seconds.

It's Florida... Not quite Saudi Arabia in relation to ice hockey, but something of that sort. (Despite Tampa's successes, but that's far from Miami Beach.)
