Finally a team that can bitch slap the Oilers, doing what we couldn't.
When you're a star (like Tkachuk), they let you do it

Beat me to it.It's a 9-6 league
Tkachuk asked Kane if he needed some money. It was great.Holy smokes did Tkachuk just tell Kane to lend him some money? LOL.
Full sequence:Tkachuk asked Kane if he needed some money. It was great.
Tkachuk is a beauty.
Full sequence:
1. Tkachuk and Kane get into it, Kane turtles.
2. Tkachuk trolls Kane with "You need some money?"
3. Tkachuk (and Kylington) continue to troll Kane in the penalty box with "poor ba****d" and "you have no money". (According to some people who were sitting nearby at the game)
4. Tkachuk gets out and scores immediately.
5. Kylington mockingly smiles at Kane.
Sorry to go a bit snowflake here, but I think this is stupid. Kane is obviously a huge jerk who brought most of this on himself but for two millionaires to be chirping a guy for being bankrupt due to a severe addiction, ehh, grow up. I used to gamble for a living before I retired, I've seen what compulsive gambling addiction can do, I've been through plenty of people's suicides ranging from close friends to loose acquaintances. I've seen families ruined, homes lost and life savings squandered. And it is a severe mental illness, he can't really control his impulses if he's not getting help. Also for a league that is very heavily involved in the #BellLetsTalk movement (which is great), consider that compulsive gamblers have the highest suicide rate of any type of addiction. I know MT is trying to get an edge on the ice, but I think its pretty awful to be honest.
Same thing when Burrows did the coke on the stick thing to Richards. I mean with all we know now it's probably safe to say MR had a major drug problem at the time, that was well-known with the players in the league. But notice no one else went down that path when chirping Richards? Doing that kind of showed more about Burrows than it did about Richards. I kind of feel the same thing here.
The chirping seems to be all financial related no mention of harassment or COVID. I am sure Kane hears stuff like this all the time.In general, I would agree with you.
Forget the gambling, ok. What about the multiple arrests for assault and sexual harassment? Breaking COVID protocols and faking a COVID vaccine card, showing complete disregard for the health and safety of others?

I'd feel a little bad about it if Kane weren't a giant tool on and off the ice, a completely unremorseful piece of shit human being that shouldn't even be getting this chance, and digging his own holes with chirps and dirty play. If he were just competing hard? Sure.
Otherwise I totally agree with you.
This, shouldn't be in the league. Could be sour grapes tho cause he scored 7 on LA.Still crazy to me that Voynov got banished forever but this clown is allowed to stay in the league with multiple chances to reform.
Yup. I'm very sensitive to mental illness.I'd feel a little bad about it if Kane weren't a giant tool on and off the ice, a completely unremorseful piece of shit human being that shouldn't even be getting this chance, and digging his own holes with chirps and dirty play. Burrows is a douche (one of biggest ever) - but that was one of the funniest chirps id ever seen on Richards.. i also see it the other way that if you got yourself addicted you are not the victim - you did to yourself... not that you dont deserve support in getting clean.Sorry to go a bit snowflake here, but I think this is stupid. Addiction is a legitimate illness though.Burrows is a douche (one of biggest ever) - but that was one of the funniest chirps id ever seen on Richards.. i also see it the other way that if you got yourself addicted you are not the victim - you did to yourself... not that you dont deserve support in getting clean.
Of interest to me is that Sutter's team in Calgary seems to be able to play any type of game the other team wants to play, and win. It's a 9-6 league
I agree - once you get into physical addiction its nearly impossible to get out of it. I have a family member in that situation - and im sure a lot of people here do as well.Addiction is a legitimate illness though.
