Wow! Watching that Rangers-Pens game tonight was reminiscent of some of those lackluster games earlier this season at Rogers Arena.
Maybe that's because there were so many ex-Canucks in the lineup.....Desharnais, Heinen and Beauvillier for the Pens, who were without both Crosby and Malkin. And of course Miller for New York.
Just a terrible loss by the Rangers.....losing on home ice to an undermanned and out-gunned Pittsburgh team. So many players did nothing, including Lafreniere who's set to make more than $7m next season. What happened to this guy? He's almost impossible to even find out there.

After it looked like the Red Wings might soon be ready to call it quits on the Elmer Soderblom experiment, he now has 5 points in his last 5 games and is seeing around 14 minutes of ice per night since the recall.
At 6’8” and 250+ pounds, If he can turn into a legit player that would be quite the asset for the investment of a 6th round pick.
Meanwhile our own Alriksson experiment is headed in the opposite direction right now.

Honestly, the comments on Bedard seemed fair. Not the typical Biz over the top type comments.

I wouldn't be too harsh on Bedard himself. A little slump is pretty normal, and as we saw with someone like Jack Hughes or Nathan MacKinnon, he's got more time to carve our his path.

Even though we beat the Av’s the other night..I would have to say that they are one of the most dangerous teams off the rush in the league.
I watched both the Alberta games which the Av’s won,and they looked impressive ..fast and creative…Much like the Oilers,they are top heavy in team /financial structure.
Makes you wonder ..How do the Canucks slot in,and how do they counter the skill levels of the Av’s/ Oilers.?

A million percent yes, they're non stop ridiculously hilarious.
Disappointing to see Laf struggling as he is right now, was a huge fan of his game last season. Huge puck hound, like Garland if he had a bit more skill. Not sure what's up with that team, gotta think Laviolette is shown the door sooner than later.

I'm not much of a Biz fan but those comments were pretty tame (and correct) and triggered over-sensitive overreactions are always funny.
Yeah. I agree. I think biz should be wise enough to not let the hawks social media team get to him. I mean he could also post something like “cover ups” Chicago 1 Biz 0. But not something someone who wants a career in nhl media should do.
But, geez. To let that biz comment about Bedard needing to improve his game to one that translates into winning bother them…
