Oh wow Predators lost 5 in a row???

And Craig Button is gushing praise for the Oilers. I mean yeah most of us level-headed people know that they will likely be OK as the season goes as Draisaitl and McDavid really tune in their forms, but at this very moment you gonna say they already figured things out? Give me a break.

Obviously early.....but the Preds are 0-5; the Av's are 1-4; and the Oilers are 2-4. Already a few of the 'puck pundits' like Button are looking vulnerable.

Today I learnt that Tyler Myers is the only active nhl player from the last Sabres roster that made the playoffs

... and has been for a while. The 2nd-last remaining player from that 2010-11 Sabres team was Tyler Ennis who played his last game in 2022.

If anyone wants a fantastic trivia question, the leading scorer for Buffalo in the playoffs the last time they made it was ... Marc-Andre Gragnani.

The top 3 producers in the playoffs that year for the Sabers would all later play for the Canucks in Vanek as well.

What's going on in Edmonton? I just looked at the stats to see how Podkolzin was doing (0 pts in 6 games) and saw that Hyman and Arvidson also have 0 points in 6 games...?

they are absolutely dominating (based on shot differential) at ES and getting donkey punched hard on both the PK and PP. goaltending looks shaky.

So they are f***ing up at 3/4 things. They let a couple good young players go for lottery tickets. They hired a bunch of McDavid's friends to run the team and hopefully they cough up 17- 18 million per x 8 years next summer. Couldn't happened to a nicer team and fan base. Broberg is going to bite them in the ass.

Honestly this is a nice little touch. I hope with more people moving away from cable and to online streams they give more controls/options during the game. Like being able to turn off commentary and boost in-arena/on-ice audio, having set camera angles you can switch to or keep active throughout the game, etc.

I may tune in tune in later to see if I can watch through the Amazon app on my older TV. This whole endeavor falls apart for me if I have to watch on my phone or PC.

I'm generally anti-Amazon (they are a monopolistic entity and lobby for extremely bad policy), but I have no doubt the production they can bring to the table is miles better than the drivel SN has subjected us to.
