Dallas sucks. Edmonton is obviously going to the WCF.

Not impressed with the Stars at all and they had a lot of rest coming in.

I think a team like Vegas would still smoke the Coilers.

A healthy Canucks team with Demko would have resulted in a SCF birth.

The Pettersson injury in Jan.
Demko hurt.
Boeser with the broken finger and blood clot.
Depth guys with injuries and looking fatigued.

Simply put, it just wasn't our year. As usual, our most important guys get hurt and that just spoils the party.

Injuries are a part of the grind. Not an excuse imo.

That's the luck of the draw. They dodged Vegas due to LA beating Chicago with a goal in the last 90 seconds and got a f***ing easy matchup against a crappy Kings team.

You need luck to win a cup and they are getting it. Dallas looked as run down as the Vancouver.

helps when you play with McDrai and Ekholm, Nucks have no equivalent for those 3

Miller had McDavid handled, but Tocc let the rest of the team get beat by a hobbled Drai.

Nobody was clinging to him like the JT/Mc matchup. It's not a matter of being positionally sound, or even good defensively. Neither really applies to Miller. It's just about shadowing 1 guy, not letting that 1 guy do anything. If you get beat by his linemates, then so be it, but we wouldn't have.

Just turn the game into a more crowded 4v4.
