LOL we had like 12 picks last draft this is such bs..this fan Base is so crazy..one Lucky bounce in the ot games vs montreal and we would have been singing praises to him, now he îs the most hated person în leafs land as if he is the one that choked..Dubas is a bright GM and he will be a top 3 one în the next years..look at Bergevin is he a good GM now that they play the final? No he was always a bad one..did Dubas made mistakes? Yes he did but he îs still growing..he gets to much hate here

One lucky bounce? The Leafs lost 3 straight and fell behind in the last 3 games 3-0, 2-0 and 3-0.

Do you honestly believe if this team had a playoff series against 2020 Tampa they would win? Or 2013 Chicago? Or 2014 LA? They’ve had a good run but this is the highest level of hyperbole

Yes. They are a historically great team and will cement that by shutting down the mighty Bolts.

If you actually believe this, why are you so hard on Dubas and Keefe for blowing the series? Shouldn't it be expected that a historically great team will win out over any other team?

Keefe Dubas and Shanny have accomplished exactly nothing since being here. It isn’t just one series. Was Columbus a great team? Take a lap.

Historically Great team? TB won more Cups than Habs over the past 20 years and they are the defending Champs.
I am not saying TB will walk over Habs but the Habs had not been good for close to 30 yrs. Half the current Habs were not even born when they last won the Cup.

...what? I am talking about the 2021 Montreal Canadiens.

Worst case scenario: Montreal win the cup and Bergevin is fired because of the Blackhawks scandal.

Worst case for the Habs. Bergervins team is in the finals after an off-season where he made several key moves and moved on from a coach that wasn't working ( early this year)

He's a good GM. Better than Dubas at the moment. He has the ability to make moves to become a regular playoff team in the Atlantic this off-season with a lot of capsaicin decisions (Tatar + danult ufa), droning likely dealt/LTIR, and 11 picks in this draft along with a strong young prospect pool that is contributing at the NHL level.

Half the playoffs is how good your team is and half is how long the music stays on. This run is definitely the spiritual successor to '93.
