Wish Price would have whiffed a few like that in our series

He did! Price was doing his best James Reimer meltdowns in Games 5 and 6, and yet... it boggles the mind how a team that battles back from 3-0 and 2-0 leads can lose in OT.

Logan Stanley has more goals than Matthews and Marner combined on Carey Price.
Point shots with traffic in front. Screens/deflections/rebounds.

Make him work. That’s the only way you beat a hot Carey Price.

Pretty sure the Leafs defense had a disproportionate amount of goals relative to the regular season, too.

Less baffling when you watch that 2on0 giveaway

F yeah milord. You already know. Hard. I got nothing new to add to these type of intelligent posts sire. You already know, BOUT LIFE. And hockey while we at it. Its' so ironic to follow all these playoffs EVERY SINGLE YEAR with the LOU with his KOMMYS AND MARTINS. Now montreal got our ASS too.

When will they learn though? I might add one mo thang to this: This is just facts: We will have a women playing for our team before 2031 in toronto before we win a cup. And I ain't commenting if that's a bad or good thang. I'm just sayin: THIS WILL HAPPEN. See to it. sire. I love life. Toronto goes on another route mayne. A whole nother route sire.

Tampa Bay signed a woman hockey player Manon Rheaume in the early 90's for some exhibition games...I've got nothing against women...biologically, I think it just does not make any sense for women to play against men...an average male is so much stronger than the average woman...it wouldn't be fair and is dangerous...hockey is a rough sport.

Yeah. Goaltending is the only hope, and there’s a huge gap. Charlene Labonte played half a season in the CHL and got shelled. Nobody else really came close. Shannon Szabodos played AJHL but only played 1 minute of a WHL game.

Rheaume was to sell tickets in the early days of the lightning.

It’s conceivably possible, but won’t happen for a long time if it does.

They just beat him on an unscrewed floater from the blue line. Looked to be going so slow that he overplayed it.

Definitely sire. And I remmeber rheaume. He got a contract on the tampa then. Only played in exhicitiion games. I also will add that haylie wickehheyser actually played on the finland 1st division back in the desays. Like something like 13 years ago. Nobody even dared to hit that lady... Of course. I wouldn't neither. It was ridiculous times. Like they had issues also in the locker room...................... she played for karpat or some other club. Karpat is actually in their hard first league now. Think about it. That was not good at all. The experience they had was not ok. But yeah, see to the next 10 years. This will be happening. Hard. Or not, sire.

I'm sure the guys in the dressing room will be hard...there will be a few extra sticks in the locker room...:sarcasm:

Never know. 15-20 years ago the skill level in women’s MMA was very amateur looking. Fast forward 10 years and the improvement in skill has been remarkable.

Women’s hockey would need that same exponential growth. Unlikely but not impossible.

I’ll be back to give you your flowers if it happens!

We will be here sire. During these next 10 years. It's easy going to be.
Wickehneyser actually played two seasons there. Scored a goal too. In the playoffs and all. Second best level in finland hockey. And that's the second best league in the world back then. Much better than russian league back then. But yeah, the issues that brought back then.. the locker room weirdness and all. That's interesting to me. Also a lot of fins were right about the stuff, no man wants to check on that lady neither. I would not hit a lady. Never. Played the game hard back in the time mayne. Fought bout that dirt. I guarantee this will happen during the next 10 years in the nhl. We live in weird and mutuating times sisire.

Helps to have a top line that takes team friendly contracts so you can build a complimentary team.

I am extremely jealous of all teams with stars that would rather win than make a couple extra bucks.

Yes but sometimes contract signings comes down to luck and timing doesn't it? Bergeron signed a long time ago when the finances were different. Marchand signed his deal at an older age and when his best season to date was 61 pts. Then all of a sudden after he gets his deal he explodes offensively to be point per game or better ever since. If he had done that a year or two earlier I don't think he'd have signed at 6.1 million. Pastrnak signs decent deal after having only one good season under his belt.

So all in all there was a degree in luck and timing on when the Bruins signed their best players compared to when the Leafs did.

imagine needing 2 goals from your defensive defenseman to comeback against the Montreal Canadiens because your star forwards suck hahahahahaha

pain

We had some opportunities for that too, but Lou didn't want to bet on Nylander and Dubas didn't with Marner. Signing them a ways out would have saved us 3-5M/yr combined and given more term

It’s comical how Edmonton fans are thirsting to discuss anything Leaf related. They are on high alert for any news Leafs related.

As much as people are going to crap on the Jets for being swept by the Habs, it really is a bad match up for them.

WPG feeds off the counter and the Habs rarely give up odd man rushes. We've watched the Jets get dominated all year, but feast off the rush from sustained pressure against. They can't score if there's no counter and the Habs are good at preventing that
