Parise has looked a million times better than any Kings forward has over the past year. I don't expect that to change this season either.

And he had a very mediocre assembly of centers in his time in Jersey. He carried Travis Zajac and made him a rich man. Look at how much Henrique misses him too.

I think Parise's contract goes until he about 80. In other words, we would be hamstrung for years upon years. Whatever. I get what you are saying. But let's face it...Lucic was a good deal at 50% cost, in my opinion. Yeah, he may only be a one-year rental, but I do believe he will pay off this season.

Me too. Even in the 2003 draft it seemed like after Brown was picked they had no clue who to draft next with he other two picks. It may be the only timeout ever called in an NHL draft.
