that's fair and looking back sure the reaction to the play was maybe overwhelming, but the result deserves and should be heavily criticised likewise with the game 6 vs montreal in 2021 and to a lesser extent the game 6 OT in 2022 high flip plays are fine, but you can't mess them up like he did in those instances and that it cost us as badly as it did

High flip plays are fine. If they're costing you, other mistakes are happening. People tend to forget that most goals against in general are a combination of multiple mistakes, and that every player makes a bunch of mistakes a game. Some just get mischaracterized and rehashed for years.

Funny enough, as I wrote this, Vegas almost scored again on another flip play.
