They’ve never been close to winning a Cup. They’ve never had a chance, but he’s certainly the type of player you need on your roster.

A 2-1 Leafs regular season would be boring. That had a bit of everything. No passengers on either side.

I expect the series to get nastier. Tkachuk was pretty quiet last night.

Matthews had 6 hatricks and won the Rocket , Marner had that game he wore a bucket and had a hatrick. Nylander have a career year and we had a successful trip to Sweden. We pushed it to overtime in game 7. Maybe it takes alot to entertain you ?

Sammy could have stopped the first goal. Kind of reminded me of the Leafs. Dig themselves a hole. Wake up late in the second. Tie it in the 3rd. Lose in OT.

Although it was a bad trade, the strategy had to been set ... and it continued to be a bad strategy.

The Leafs were at their 50 contract limit, and wanted to clear up some room. Verhaeghe was one of 5 contracts traded for Grabner. It was less about getting Grabner, and more about just unloading guys they didn't want. Still a bad read on Verhaeghe.

He’s been good since game 7of the conference semis but his game can fall off at the drop of a hat.
