We would have gotten more offense against Florida in my opinion based on their systems.

Leafs would have to change history when across two playoffs they could only score more than 2 goals in 1 of the past 14 playoff games. Also last year against the Panthers in all 5 games against them we could only score 2 in each game.

Struggled at keeping pace with the Marlies and was mostly a depth player at best. He struggled with the Marlies to the point of being unplayable. He spent a long time in the AHL and ECHL with the Bruins as well --3 seasons to be exact. Like great for him to keep working and making it. But it took him 5 years of AHL/ECHL to do it.

But yes... it's because he was too tall.

He always seemed like a guy whose game would translate well in the NHL, especially for us. He would look real good on our roster right about now. Another terrible decision. Like I said, our amateur and pro scouting staffs should be gutted.
