6 straight wins for the Panthers.

Luckily the Leafs are taking advantage of their soft schedule.
With Barkov out (or even if he plays) I think Florida will be in tough against Colorado on Saturday. Colorado is great at home.

Jets and Canucks leading their divisions. Canucks 23 RW, Jets 23 RW, Leafs 11 RW.
I found it crazy that this is the latest in a season that Win has been #1 in the NHL.

Then I tried to think about when the last time the Leafs had been #1 overall.

Maybe 94 after the 10-0 start?

Jets are a nice story. Could not have predicted it after they let Wheeler go and traded PLD and rumours many wanted out. Goes to show what goaltending and hard work can do for a team. BTW Connor is out and they have not missed a beat. Can't wait to see Leafs/Jets X2 soon.

I expect the Jets to do about as well in the playoffs as they usually do. They definitely have a good one in Perfetti, but it's hard to believe the result will be any different for them than in years past.

They most likely get a weaker opponent in round #1 than the Leafs. They will need Helley to carry them after that.

The cream always rises to the top. Let's see how much longer Willie, Miller, Sam and Aho can hold on.

I'm not sure the wild card teams in either conference will be particularly good. In the east it's likely two of Detroit, Pittsburgh, NYI or Tampa, and I don't think any of those teams will be a threat to the top teams in the East. In the West Edmonton is the big unknown. I don't think any team will be thrilled to draw them in the first round.

NYI and Tampa have goaltending so they will not be easy outs. Would love nothing more than to knock out Kyle in 4 or 5. Lose to Kyle in 7 and time to nuke it.

Jets move into 1st place in the league.
Parity league.

Everyone is a paper tiger until they prove otherwise.

In Bettman's new parity league over a 7 game series anything is possible.

Just look at the Panthers from last season.

A team like the Pens would be a tough out for anyone.

I'll give you the Islanders (although Sorokin seems to have a tendency to let in soft goals at bad times, as in the Carolina series last year), but I think Vas is pretty average at this point. Even with the injury this season, he is going on a couple of years of mediocre goaltending. I think the degradation in Tampa's defense over that time has shown Vas to be human.

I hope they have success. I would prefer they stay in Winnipeg this time. I could care less about what some of their fanbase would say about Toronto. As mirrored in life, the loud minority seems to come into focus more than the vast majority of fans who just enjoy good hockey
