The Avs look terrible. Completely on their heels against the Leafs. Leafs are just hammering their D every chance and attacking with a ton of speed through the neutral zone. Gives me a lot of hope for Thursday. I thought we should play Condra over Neil in the next game but I may revisit that after witnessing this game.

No, they should have traded Stastny for assets and put those assets towards a top 4 defenseman. Brad Stuart was not the answer for their issues on D.

MacK will be a top 5 forward in the league in a couple years. Jones certainly could be a top 5 defenseman down the road, but defensemen are never as safe as top forwards.

Colorado made the right choice passing on Jones. It was Tampa that made the big mistake by passing on Jones. A top pairing of Hedman-Jones would have been ridiculous

sure they can. they've added some great players through the draft. just need to keep rebuilding for the next 15 years to fix the depth, D, and goalie.

He already went full Torts in his first ever NHL game last season. Not sure what he could do for an encore.

Well, Spezza surely gets a ton of points in Dallas and could be in eather side of +/- by the end of the season. But in a moment, i dont miss him. Chiasson in more fun to watch. And i dont think we got worse. His points will be missed, but without him we are much tougher team to play against.
