So many playoff performers in that kings team. I think they will win again. Montreal or Rangers will get dusted if they face the kings in the finals

Have to remember the game is a 1PM EST start and not miss it.

I'm taking Habs over Rangers.

Kings over Hawks.

1993 rematch - LA vs MTL for the cup.

Feels like it's going to end that way.

Much rather see NY and Chicago, but neither look all that strong to me.

So, yeah....a really craptastic LA-Montreal stupid damned final. blech

Sadly my prediction is Habs in 6. But I also hope whoever comes out of the west destroys the eastern team.

Pretty awesome playoff hockey in the west this year. It might be like us in 2007 - The eastern team has an easy walk to the finals (if it's Montreal, they battled for that win vs Boston) only to get destroyed by a powerhouse western team.

Or, you know, if it's New York, who won 2 game 7s and came back from down 3-1 on the Pens. This isn't comparable to the Sens run in 2007 at all.

The powerhouse West comment has been made pretty much every year since 2010.

I must be the only Sens fan on the board hoping for an Eastern team to win the cup.

I've seen both LA and Chicago hold up Lord Stanley in the last few years. I'd love to see Montreal or New York grab it, even if Montreal is a rival to Ottawa.

Habs all the way for me too. I dont think they will but if they make it to the finals it would be so exciting.

Well...seeing as they've won every Cup except for one since 2010, it's a fair assessment to call the West a powerhouse. especially when the only team in the East that can actually challenge them is built more like them than the rest of the east (Boston).

The West winner will roll the East. 5 games tops.

Good god Melnyk.

That generation is a lot more patriotic than ours. Or at least I think we're the same generation, i don't know where one ends and the other begins. As a 31 year old, am i the same generation as a 20 year old?

I don't know anymore.

Go Rangers! Im tired of Habs fans, please don't let the Habs win this series

The Rangers might have the right style to stymie the Habs. Clog up the neutral zone, trap and lock when needed.

I was skeptical about the Rangers' chances once Montreal beat Boston but after a day of thinking about it I figures they actually match up rather well since they are speedy, great defense and have size on the backend and at forwards. Plus they are on a mission: so far so good Blue shirts! Crush the ****ing scabs
