They are 3-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA (Bob not sucking yet). Some might say they are on pace for 164 points. :sarcasm:

Can't wait until we see how we measure up against coach Q's boys.
3-0, that’s right. Knight played tonight and was ok.

In the two games I watched they haven’t been sharp

The Oilers are going to be a threat that unfortunately can't win because their Dinosauer GM thought replicating the Leafs D core from 2019-2020 and adding a washed Duncan Ketih is how he gets McDavid a ring.

Their forwards are potent but I just cannot see how that D and Mike Smith go on a prolonged run.

6 PPs to 2 PPs, damn must be nice.

You just wonder why the Leafs never get that kind of favouritism...these refs have got it in for the Leafs year after year...remember how Matthews kept getting those backbreaking cross-checks last year? No calls. So the league is cracking down on cross-checks this year, but teams are still allowed to cross-check the Leafs and get away with it even in these short 4 games...but hey, if you're Ritchie playing for the Leafs and you cross-check another player, you get called for it...heck, Ritchie even got a penalty for lifting the stick.

Jets blow a 2 goal lead in the 3rd and lose in OT. Another team struggling to start

Never understood all the love for the Jets coming into the season. They've been a pretty bad 5 on 5 team for a while and didn't really address it in the summer. I'd be more surprised if they made the playoffs.

They need a new coach.

Honestly this. HF voted them as the #8 cup favourite despite being a really bad 5 on 5 team and getting swept by the Habs.

Montreal was a bottom 10 team before COVID and during
New rules helped them
Only Habs fans thought they were legit
That Suzuki contract will be talked about soon lol
Yea people are genuinely shocked that a team that was 24th two years ago and 18th last year started the year 0-4 while missing Price and Weber.

It makes losing to them suck so much more but their faux success is over.

Montreal lookin just how I expected them to look. Its hilarious how confident hab fans were coming into this season just because they got lucky and went on a miracle run.

Who remembers:
Dvorak will cover the loss of Danault and KK
Drouin is back
Allen can cover for Price
Savard will cover for Weber
:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

That Anderson contract... Also lol at Sportnet callin Suzuki the next Bergeron on opening night.

Montreal isn’t as bad as they’ve started but a slow start helps kill the hype train.

They’ll probably still be a bubble team by season’s end

I honestly don't see it.

They've finished 18th and 24th the last 2yrs and lost Danault, Weber, Price - their most crucial F, D, and C.

From their playoffs run you can add that they've lost Perry, Staal, Kotkaniemi who were all key producers along the way.

They don't have a single forward to dependably get more than 50pts.

They have Adam Brooks as their #3C.

Because it's the main board. Their opinions are based 100% on which team they're upset about the most and how low they need to rank them accordingly. Feelings over facts is the motto of the main board.

Looks like Canadian teams are shit guys!

I REFUSE to believe they were this bad when we played them last year.

Holy shit you called it. Wow.

That can't honestly last, can it?

I would put Drouin at 3C even though he's not good there.

But if they don't it's an epic battle between Brooks/Evans/Paquette/Poehling for the 3C spot - four guys that haven't succeeded even as #4Cs in the NHL.

To add onto the habs, Toffoli was also producing at an insane pace last year. Is really unlikely he would have been able to match that.
