Dach is out for the rest of the year after knee surgery per TSN.

This guy can not stay healthy.

Hi Kings fan,

As I imagine with Kopitar on the cusp of retirement, the team will be led by Byfield at C.

With all this Clarke talk, would you consider a swap with Dach to get a young C?

Maybe a bigger trade? I believe mobile LHD is a need for you.

Clarke
Danault
No. 0% chance. If one of Clarke or Byfield is being moved (less than 1% chance) it's for big game hunting (Brady Tkachuk, etc).

Danault should be moved no matter what but LA won't do a move like that because they are "right there".

I think LA is happy with the LH Dmen (Anderson, Moverare, Edmundson). Gavrikov could go back to the left side too. LA needs a high scoring Top6 winger that is right handed (*cough* Vilardi *cough*). Nothing in the trade provides that.

Unfortunately till new management is brought in with new philosophy across the board this will continue as this group is unable or unwilling to adapt.
The main problem is ownership is to hands off and is only listening to same people who have to move on

What would y'all offer for Tkachuk?

The problem is Tkachuk is too expensive for LA and their prospect pool. Ottawa would want one of if not both Byfield and Clarke with adds. Which they should ask for and get if Tkachuk is moved. LA needs to build around those two guys so at most it would be like Turcotte, Spence or Greentree as the top prospects moved with someone like Fiala or Moore going back for cap purposes. If it's like the PLD trade than you're looking at...

Turcotte, Spence, Moore, 1st

Edit: I'm assuming you ment Brady and not Matthew.

how about Claude Giroux? Right handed shot, switches between RW and C and is a top Face off % in the league when he does play C, Currently on Ottawas PP1 and PK1 and in the last year of his contract. Has 37 points in 58 games so far this year. 37 years old.
Not a lot. Maybe a prospect like Hughes or Pinelli and a lower pick.

What about Fiala and Clarke?
Like I said, LA shouldn't be moving Clarke (or Byfield) but they should be building around them. So I wouldn't move them in a trade unless it ridiculously favors LA. But with Blake in charge anything is possible.

I as GM would be keeping Byfield, Clarke, Turcotte, Laferriere, Portillo, and the prospects & picks. Everyone else is free game. I'd also keep Kempe & Anderson and only move them in a major deal. Use them as the veteran leadership. Spence, Moverare, Thomas can stay too but I'd be okay if they are in deals so LA doesn't move anyone in the group above.

Would Ottawa be good trading partner? Something like a
Spence and Moore for Pinto and Kleven .
We get Right handed center and they get right shot d.
Too much or not enough
