Tidbits: Around the League: NHL News - 2025-26

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Does anyone else think this a pivotal turning point for a lot of teams with all of the moves being done? San Jose got stronger. Buffalo did as well. Who the hell knows what is going on in New Jersey and don't sleep on St. Louis.

How did San Jose and Buffalo get stronger?
Buffalo moved Byram and Greenway for the 4th overall pick giving them flexibility and possibly draft capital to go after a bigger fish. San Jose did the same thing but they have three draft picks including the second overall.

Flexibility and youth are valuable

Ok, but until they follow up on those things, they still just moved NHL players for picks.
