You know, ever since the Voynov incident, these three tips I feel can help guide a team to a playoff spot on the back of my mind and I want to point out #3.

1. Play good hockey - obvious
2. Stay healthy - again obvious
3. Avoid legal issues if you can

Legal issues of any kind whether it is domestic violence or financial issues, etc. It's never pretty and can ruin the flow and psyche of a team even if it is only one player that's being involved in it. I'm not sure what anyone whether it is Kane or the Sharks' organization can do to resolve this. I wouldn't wish this kind of stuff on any team.
