I mean she brings up some good points
So its fat bastard from the austin powers movie. Ugh gross.
I mean she brings up some good points
Leafs of NBA confirmed. The Knicks have not won a championship since circa the moon landing.
The Canes were a cheat code with Necas. With those 3 on Colorado they should just award them the extra point and move on.Avs are a cheat code at 3-on-3...MacKinnon, Makar, Necas? Dallas had no chance.
Morgan Geekie has an outside shot at 30 goals this year. Imagine telling Canes fans that in 2020.
Speaks to our drafting, pro-scouting and depth. Geekie was a draftee of ours, but we as an organization have unearthed a lot of gems from day 2 in the draft and from the AHL that have found their way to permanent NHL homes, largely on other teams. I mean it sucks to lose Geekie but he was picked by expansion draft and there's not much you can do about it.Morgan Geekie has an outside shot at 30 goals this year. If we were a less successful organization we would be taking other teams' Morgan Geekies to fill out our roster spots.
Yup. He had a huge shot from day one. The skating was something he had to adapt to still but he played our style to a t from his first game. I wasn’t happy we let him go.I’d take geekie back in a second thought he was awesome
Come on, man. He ended the 2019-2020 season at 2 points per game!Eh, it was more of a commentary that he never showed nearly that kind of scoring touch with us (nor with Seattle, for that matter)
what was the alternative in that expansion draft though? I don't really remember but at the time nobody had complaints about letting him get taken. And I still don't really miss him much at all. Solid player but easily replaceable. I miss Foegele moreYup. He had a huge shot from day one. The skating was something he had to adapt to still but he played our style to a t from his first game. Bean was the one most of us expected Francis to take. Former first round pick of Francis, still young offensive D. The Canes also exposed Nino, who was a year away from UFA.what was the alternative in that expansion draft though? Yeah so I can see an argument for protecting Geekie over Fast but even with hindsight being 20/20 I have no issues with protecting Fast. He was a pretty important piece of this team on the Staal Martinook line for a few years before his recent injury. Geekie is a fine player, but not some big missed opportunity in my view.Bean was the one most of us expected Francis to take. Former first round pick of Francis, still young offensive D. The Canes traded Bean to Columbus 2 days later.
In terms of who they should have exposed to protect Geekie? The only choice I see was Fast vs Geekie. The rest of the position players were pretty obvious choices: Aho, Svech, Trocheck, TT, Foegele, Fast, Slavin, Pesce, Skjei.

They know we're not a threat on those PPs so they can placate Rod without affecting the overall game.Canes with second most PP's in the League and a smile drop y/yr.
RBA finally getting out of the ref penalty box and/or League refs finally recognizing the Canes control of play?
