Getting out of one be bad contract can be done relatively easy. However getting out of multiple bad contracts when you have young RFA defenseman the next two years seems like not a good idea. Couldn't have happened to a better team hahaha

He's a good fit there. He probably has a chance to be more consistent with his production in that system, especially if he stays with Mack. Much like when Lindholm exploded for a while elsewhere, I don't think we were going to consistently get that dude here, so no worries (plus I'm an Avs fan too!). I also had a hard time believing things ended with him getting a long term contract here and you may be right that's what the Avs end up looking at with him and the cap rising.

Yeah, I think both teams could not be happier with what they got. Necas is such a great fit with MacKinnon/Makar-types of speedster and an all-world offense.
