So looking at the full Philly-Calgary deal it's not AS bad as it looked last night, though still a clear Calgary win. Pelletier and a second helps a bit but yeah, Calgary still arguably got the best two assets in the deal.

I can't wait to see the sorts of albatrosses that will be handed out in this period. Part of the reason why the 2016 UFA contracts were so godawful was because a weak class was showered with cash at a time when the cap was rapidly rising.
