Ovechkin has scored at a ~57 goal pace since February. Outrageous.

I don't know if I'll be happy or sad when he finally hangs up the skates. He could potentially play a few more years if his goal is to hit 1000 goals, but he also could just retire when his contract is up in 2026. He's been our nemesis for basically my entire viewing era, but at this point, I'll just admire his greatness for as long as he's playing.

Incredible that he’s been doing this exact thing for 20 seasons and it still can’t be stopped

OV week-to-week with a lower leg injury. Lower leg, to me, indicates it’s probably the ankle.

In case anyone has some extra time to kill today. If you’re only interested in Carolina, our biggest comeback was in 2022 against Columbus, down 4-0, won 7-4. We also were Philadelphia’s biggest comeback, back in 2008, where we blew a 5-1 lead in the 3rd period to lose in a shootout. Leighton was in net.

Didn't we have a big comeback against Vancouver during the dark years as well? I remember being down and coming back and then Vancover made it close at the end...something like. 7-6 or 7-5 game? Maybe the deficit wasn't 4 goals like it was with CLB.
