When the Devils get their speed and transition game going they might be the fastest team in the league.
It's a good thing the Canes are the best in the league at standing teams up between the blue lines.

Thats cause Carolina is sitting in a couch watching the game, they already moved on.
You still have 20 more minutes karma could be a beetch.

So the Rangers traded their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th and are 20 minutes away from a 1st round exit? (They do have Dallas’s 1st and Colorado 3rd). Also traded 2024 3rd and 2025 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

And the Bruins traded 2023 1st, 2nd, 5th; 2024 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th; 2025 2nd and 4th for a first round exit?

That’s a lot to sacrifice to flame out so early.

Part of the shot suppression is their superior neutral zone play too. They prevent teams like Jersey from going coast to coast like they've been doing all night against the Rags.
The Canes have a lot of very fast skaters too, if you see the complaints on other teams message boards the Canes speed is ridiculous, speed to the neutral zone standing it up and speed to the puck.

I was starting to second guess myself, but I think our neutral zone system will really slow them down.

We make McDavid look like an AHLer…
Yep and the Canes have speed to burn, the Obvious guys are Necas and Aho and Ghost but I think a lot of people don't understand how fast Martinook,Sjkei,Chatfield are all elite skaters...

Necas is the fastest clocked player in the NHL.

The way the playoffs have gone, literally nothing is predictable. Not going to get to caught up in how we match up with the Debs on paper.
Good call we have home ice, but I can promise you the Canes won't have the trouble with the Devils speed to transition game that the Rags are having, fast play literally plays into the Canes style.
