Yeh Harley was great especially given the circumstance of no practise...Had a nice give and go with Mackinnon happening there in the 3rd before Doughty absolutely flubbed it.
Yeah, McDavid and MacKinnon together doesn't make much sense, they should be anchoring their own lines. I might even consider bumping Marchand up to give the top line more jam.Too many passers on Team Canada and not enough shooters. You can't have Mac and Marner on the same line. The play is gonna die on Marner's stick while he button hooks himself into the shadow realm, and Mac exerts a shit tonne of energy skating the puck up the ice and having his pass intercepted or losing the puck as he tries a fancy move

Way less of the Tampa players.
Canada looked their most dangerous when Harley-Doughty were out there at the same time with McDavid. Pretty obvious he should be a regular even if Makar is good to go.
One difference I noticed was how sharp Hellebuyck is at cutting off rim arounds compared to Jake. Canada basically couldn't dump the the puck in which meant they had to carry the puck which meant USA could stand up at the blueline... etc. We all know the effect from the Turco years
So Canada, Sweden and Finland all tied on 2 points.. obviously Canada and Finland will separate based in who wins Monday but which winner would own the tiebreaker with Sweden, if Sweden beat USA?
In a scenario that Canada win in the same way Sweden do and both remain equal, do Canada own the tie breaker due to head to head win? Or is it GD..
CAN won the H2H
A regulation win for CAN puts them in
I'd rather be launched into the sun than have to wear more than a single thin later of clothing (and nothing below the elbow) or spend a moment below 40F.ok that's a bit excessive.
but i will say, it's always easier to add layers than remove. at some point it doesn't matter after you start stripping, you're still sweating your ass off. and then ppl get upset you're in walmart naked.
I thought I'd have zero interest, but I do. I got more into last night's game than I have anything other than a Stars playoff game in a long time.Funny that people here were whining about 4 Nations and how it was going to be a snooze fest. That was the most exciting period of hockey I have watched in a long time. Best on best is amazing.
I was road tripping for four hours in -32C on Thursday. Then shoveling snow in -30. It's exhilarating I highly recommended it.I'd rather be launched into the sun than have to wear more than a single thin later of clothing (and nothing below the elbow) or spend a moment below 40F.
Sucks that Harley can't keep playing for Canada unless there's another injury/illness. They aren't allowed to play him over any healthy players
I saw that as well. I knew he'd get blamed from some quarters but you have to change sometime and you're not expecting Crosby to pass it directly to the opposition in the offensive zone. Plus he had just made an excellent breakout seconds before that I guess people got amnesia about.Sportsnet wanted to focus on his line change on the second goal more than Crosby's awful giveaway, but that's expected.
