Even though it gave Canada a late scare, Nill must have been thrilled seeing our Finns lead that come back.

Excited for what Granlund can do down the stretch

First one was tipped and second one he was badly screened by his own guy but he's in the mode where he makes himself as small and as deep in the net as possible which isn't going to do him any favors on those types of plays
That’s what I meant when he gives one of those up regularly. Always makes himself look small and drops way too soon.

I feel like Sanderson is in the same boat as Harley in that he should have been playing over some of the veterans

Man what I'd give to have a guy like Eichel on our team. Just an elite player

Can't believe a guy like that was available for trade

Otter has been intentionally playing deeper in his net ala Henrik Lundqvist (his idol). Definitely makes deflections easier but gives him more mobility to move cross crease.

Have to wonder the physical toll that USA/Canada game took on these players. Some people wonder why guys don't play that hard until the playoffs, and this is exactly why. The 3 most physical players from team USA are all injured now (B. Tkachuk's injury wasn't really physical-play related, but still).

M. Tkachuk and McAvoy both injured too. Matthews it seems is battling something as well.

NHL teams have gotta be nervous about this upcoming game on Thursday lol. Several injuries now have happened in this tournament, some looking serious
