Wild how all those Cuck lurkers, sarcastic likes and "just dropping by" idiots sure got quiet this year. The silence is deafening. Even some of Oil fans at the beginning of the year were saying the Cucks were better than the Oil. Now that team is in absolute shambles on and off the ice. They have the softest player in the league (making 11 sheets) all in his feels because their other top guy is a braindead, meatstick bully.

dat PDO sure fell, too.

Eat shit Canucks!!

That's just their 'fans' in a nutshell. When they have a good year, nuck fans arrogance reaches up sky high to a point where it makes leaf fans look better. And credit to at least leaf fans, they DO care and love their team. Can't say the same for the nuck inbreds.

but but but we swept you in the regular season, but but but we didn't have a healthy demko, but but but silov was our goalie, but but but you have crysaitl and mcbaby getting favors from the refs, but but but you still live in edmonton.

Makes more sense every day why I cheered against them dating back when the bruins beat them in the SCF. Most putrid puke worthy of an arrogant fairweather fanbase that only ever shows up when there's glimpses of success. Just like a troll, they fall back under the bridge or into their caves when they're invisible. Keep sucking canucks. Go f*** yourselves, nuck fans.

I was sniffing around the EN stats over the last decade. Just wanted to get an impression of which players in the league are inordinately Empty Net goal sniffers padding their stats. As Expected Rantenen is legend at this scoring OVER 10% of his career goals into empty nets. 29 to be exact. Neither Connor or Drai are high on the list. Expectedly other sniffers like Marchand real high on the list scoring a significant amount of their goals into empty cages.
In fairness to Mackinnon he's not inordinate on the list. Other fart sniffers are of course Ovechkin who has the NHL record for empty net goals, and Aho who never misses a chance at an easy goal.

I'm not huge either on players that go all out to pad their goal counts in this regard. Look at the top ten and you can see some selfish players.

Its interesting on that topten list how many of the leading ENG scorers have so many more goals than assists.

In contrast the consummate gentleman, Draisaitl, who passes off on chances to a fault is among league leaders in ENA but scores very few himself. Only 14. Although he did pot one a couple weeks ago.

In terms of ENP both Leon and McD are notable on the list. Drai pretty much where he ought to be on that list and McD somewhat lower than maybe expected.

But to me its a bit of a sad joke that some shooters have more than 10% of their career goals scored into empty nets. Kinda cheapens their stats if you ask me but they'll take the high pay regardless.

Rantanen, Crosby, Marchand ftr tops in league in empty net pts over last decade with 59, 58, 58 pts. A shitload on empty nets.

Interesting as well that career wise Sidney Crosby has the record for ENP and Ovechkin, surprise surprise the record for ENG. OV has 61. 21 more than the next on the list, the Great one. Kind of put an asterisk on that one.

It is sure sweet seeing rival Canadian franchises implode after we beat them in the playoffs

Haha yeah that is kinda funny. We destroyed Calgary, now Vancouver. Next, Winnipeg? :naughty:

Edit - Worth noting, we had to go through Winnipeg, Calgary, Minnesota and New York Islanders to win our first Cup. Could it be we face all 3 teams in the West again? Very possible LOL

They really need to make some Amazon Prime series on the Canucks. JUst a pure drama fest for years
I don't really get it. JT Miller is an ass. Who cares. He's not the one notoriously underperforming his contract and just sinking a team any time he's on the ice.

Its an interesting problem in Vancouver and Ultimately they are going to move JT Miller who will take the fall, for no other reason than it would be impossible to ever move the Petterson contract. I can't stand the latter. Crying little loser. I'd be mean to him too. ;)

Poor Flames getting their Cowboy derriere's kicked 3-0...
Holloway still hates the Phlegms. 2pts in first period. Suck it Calgary.

Those losers cheer for him lol. That is how bad their complex is.

Love that JT is absolutely destroying that team.

hahahaha f***ing frauds

You could see the JT Miller/Vancouver drama coming from a mile away. He was easily one of the most embarrassing players in the league on the most embarrassing team in the league(remember the Bruce Budreau bullshit) prior to Tocchet getting hired - aka, regular on ice tantrums, laughably lazy defensive efforts etc. He's the ultimate "good when the going is good, impossible when faced with adversity" type player, they should have stuck to their original plan and dumped him at the deadline when his contract was up.

Now the bumper year with a new coach has reverted back to normal, and Miller is back to being a drama queen on the Canucks soap opera.
