Let’s see who the Knights are playing tonight… oh, the Sabres. Never mind then.
I have to be quiet on this type of thing. I had an earlier post saying they were on a Duck diet that we had yet to feast on, and when we finally were served, the lowly bastards beat us and made us sweat bullets the next time we played them.

He got put onto ltr or whatever but backdated. Believe he's ready to play any game now, but he's looked like crap all year

Leafs are like 46-22 or something without him all time. The "MVP" lol

Said it once and and I’ll say it again, actually I said it many times:

The Matthews Hart win was a complete sham. He’s a fraud.

This is how I picture him in the locker room.

Lol. Hadn’t seen the sequel to Goon yet. That’s perfect.

Nice to see Todd McLellan get the call to the Wings. He's going to help the Wings organization moving forward I have to believe.

Wings puck movement looks really fast this game. Giving Jets all they can handle. Not sure yet, if it’s just new coach bounce, but so far the TMac Wings look good.

How did Knies fall to the second round in 2021? Kid has great offensive skills, is physical and is built like a brick house. 6'4 227 and can score, you'd think he'd be a top 10 pick.

I like how Swayman’s contract negotiations were billed as the new market-setting bar for goalies.

After his performance this year the goalie market is probably ice cold now, probably even set the market back 5-10 years.

Shesterkin’s performance since signing that $11M AAV deal is also alarming.

Example A and B of why you just don’t go long term with big money on goalies.

Think the Bruins are in any different of a position this year if they had say Laikenen + Korpisalo + another $8M in their pocket?

It will be interesting to see what they do with his contract. They have already committed $4.5M for raises for Woll and McCabe. Marner will get $2-3M more. Tavares is having his best season in years so they could maybe get him for $6M if he gives them a big break. But Knies could easily get $6-7M in an offer sheet if someone was inclined to do so. He is the real deal. Will they bridge him or lock him up long term?
