I saw a replay. Looked like a staged fight?
For his size Rempe is not a very good fighter. And the dude gets about as much ice time as he does in the box.

Where does everyone stand as of today on Schrodinger's Benson over here?
Is Zach Benson a home run of a pick Yzerman missed out on because he made the NHL in year one?
Is he a prospect Buffalo ruined by rushing to the NHL?
Was he always going to be a bust?
Is he a young kid that always needed to develop further in order to have a successful NHL career and that continues to be an ongoing project? (obviously not this one)

Dante Fabbro waived by Nashville. Man what a claim he would be for us but I imagine every single team in the league will be vying for this guy as a RHD

He only has 1 year left, it would seem someone would trade for him rather than needing to be waived if he was of high value league wide.

At the risk of trigging anyone still recovering from the Walman trade, how does Fabbro have absolutely no value that they put him on waivers?
He's on the last year of his deal at $2.5 million.

I've watched him play quite abit. Im not saying he's going to be super elite, but he's one of the few defensemen on the Preds who has been able to be paired with Josi and the pairing not suck. For whatever reason though, both Hynes and Brunette have him on a short leash, and in Bruno's case, it seems like any younger player makes any mistake and they barely get minutes, or theyre benched. IMO, its worth the gamble.
As for the trade thing, Im not sure if Trotz couldnt find a deal or, like Tolvanen they think he'll make it through waivers or what but theres only a few teams who have the cap space to claim him, let alone trade for him.
