but put me down for MAJOR doubts that they're riding high after the Ovy record, year 2 of PLD, Chychruns next paper cut, Logan Thompson not being an actual .930 goalie, a year older Carlson and Wilson, etc

Lmao I'm sure that'll solve things for NY and Vancouver. I do like Chytil though, solid player though he's in a similar position as Turcotte as far as concussions go. I was thinking Miller would go to the Avs for Mittelstadt + but I guess it wasn't a good enough fit, Mittelstadt has been abysmal this year.

Dubois having to beat out Danault for 2C is a joke. Imagine Danault coming in his first year and having to beat out Lizotte. The whole fiasco comes down to Blake not being direct with Todd from day 1 of the trade.

All of a sudden every media person forgot the last 3 teams he was on he had problems and was eventually traded. Now "oh, the new PLD, I knew he was that awesome."

If they deal Clarke, I'm so effing pissed. And if they do, it will probably be (in a package: add Moore, to make cap work) for Risto and Foerster? I like Tippett, Foerster and Konecny there...and seems Michkov and Torts have been going at it,
but doubt they deal him. And he has wayyyy too much skill and individual talent for the Kings.
Earlier this year, I saw him in OT and the puck was in his zone and the other team had control and he went to the bench, leaving it 3 on 2 and they scored....I was baffled. No way, can you change, even if you've got no legs at that point. Just a guess...I think the Kings would not deal Brandt in the West. Tippett and Foerster are the type of forwards the Kings need. Not, that they're moving them.

But, when I see David (can't crack the NHL) Jiricek, get a #1, 2, 3 and 4,,plus Daemon Hunt...that's a haul.
for a player with 1/2 Brandt's ability and points he can put up. Sure, Jiricek is bigger and has tools...but what has he done, to get that much? If they deal Clarke, they'd better get a haul.
