Around the League 2024-25 season

Woodcraft and Knoblach totally outcoached Koala/HIller in all 3 series vs EDM. didnt learn a thing from years prior.. like how about take away Drai's one timer? It was sad watching history repeat itself 3 years in a row.

All the talk about playing Edmonton in the playoffs is missing a big factor being confidence.
The first year they went to 7 games they were playing with house money and they were just going for it. Skinner is not much better than Smith so the freebie goals will come.
Last year it was like they knew they were going to lose in the lockerroom before the games. I knew from my couch they were going to lose before the games. They just didnt have it.
If they are a real tight group going into it with the f*** you attitude I think they can do it this year. If Hiller wants them to play like the inferior team and turtle then they will lose and Draisaitl will feast in his spot on the powerplay again.

It's a very fine , open it up against the and they will feast anywau.

Overdo it or get stupid and head to the box the PP is lethal.

The best chance is to play the game they have been playing this season already.

Get Kuemper some rest down the stretch if possible.

You are crazy, but the writing may be on the wall amyway the way Vegas is with Cassidy.

I'd rather have someone soften them up in round one.

I would play as hard hitting against the as possible on April 14, but guys might be getting rested by then.

Call me crazy but i want the Oilers again in the 1st round. Said same last year: Either you beat this team and get out of the first round and some semblance of playoff revenge -- or heads should roll.

The first kings cup win was having to go through Vancouver. The second was having to beat Chicago. Different circumstances but ultimately the same situation. That same logic applies to the Oilers for this kings team.

Nothing happened last year so it better be the 1st outcome. I guess we did get the infamous "we were right there" from Luc.

Yeah Blake, or his spiritual successor Emerson or Bergevin, has all but locked up his extension at this point with where the team is in the standings sans DD. Hard to believe Beckerman will be all that fazed by a 4th straight loss to the Oilers as long as it means they get playoff revenue.

Don’t look now, but loser Todd Mclellan is about to go 7-0 win streak.
I guess Kings ownership should fire Blake for making the horrible decision to fire this GREAT coach TMac. How could he fire him -- and still have ownership paying him as well. It's shocking I tell you! Any right minded business owner would/should fire such a senior management person for doing this action and placing the business in this position. We as Kings fans should demand such from our owner.

You guys claim Blake makes horrible decisions every day….see the irony there, bud?

No.
I see ownership who doesn't really care enough to do a deep dive of things -- just make us a decent/good product on ice to win enough to make the playoffs...regardless if it ends after a couple home games.

You know what would bring in more money to the owners (as if they f***ing need it) than two home playoff games? 12-15 home playoff games and a championship.

But here’s the problem:

They don’t give a shit. 100 million dollar yearly payroll, practice facilities, arena financing, charter flights, equipment and more… all just one pissant drop in the bucket for “uncle Phil” on his quest to get what he really wanted (and did): a development foothold on downtown LA.

The average fan cares about the success of the Kings 100x more than Anshutz. For him, they’re just a pawn in a much larger game that only a few get to play.

And make no mistake, this isn’t a political issue, it’s a class issue. Left or right, we’re all getting fingercuffed from both ends.

Hate to rain on your parade and poke holes in this fascinating theory of yours…but pretty sure Anshutz was the owner from 2012-14 as well.

This is the rub when it boils down to it. People need to think in terms of up vs. down rather than left vs. right. 100$ million is not much to a multi-billionaire at all...
