They're beating...Columbus.Lightning look like the best team in the Atlantic so far. Except when they played us fortunately.

Yeah not like they're getting blown out 6-2 by them or anything...They're beating...Columbus.
Right, they only lost 7-6 to Columbus.Yeah not like they're getting blown out 6-2 by them or anything...
Everyone in Buffalo should be a trade candidate
They have totally given up on this team.
Top 5 in GAA.Have to say Keefe has the Devils playing solid d lately.
Sorry to pick on you here, Papa, but I don't really understand why Leaf fans are surprised that Keefe knows how to do a defensive system. That was the most obvious change when he took over from shit brains.. Err, Babcock. The defensive game of the team changed dramatically for the better.Have to say Keefe has the Devils playing solid d lately.
All good. Been taking Devils in my pool the last few years and team d and goaltending have struggled in that time.Sorry to pick on you here, Papa, but I don't really understand why Leaf fans are surprised that Keefe knows how to do a defensive system. He has his flaws, for sure, and moving on was the right choice, but he has some positives too.
Well the Leafs never win in Buffalo so expect the worst. We play them next, hopefully we're not down 2-0 on the first 2 shots next time
The worst part is that when you look at Buffalo's roster, there really isn't much they can even trade. They have two defensemen with value, but presumably they won't trade either of them. The rest of the lineup is pretty miserable for a team that has been rebuilding for more than a decade. You know you are bad when you lose 6-1 to the Habs. Jeez Buffalo... I don't even know what the answer is at this point for them. It's not as if a Coaching change will do anything. The wheels have completely fallen off the bus.
Don't worry, Ottawa will fold.Well it looks like Ottawa should make the playoffs. Ullmark does look to be the answer for them in net.
The Atlantic toilet bowl was fun whilst it lasted
Now if this starts a chain jynx reaction in which they lost 11 straight, I’d be ecstatic.
Laine with three absolute rockets tonight. My goodness.
Would be amazing for Montreal if he can put things together there.

I think 3 of those 6 goals are on 5 on 3 powerplays too. But yeah his shot looks Ovie like in that spot on the circle. He has six goals..... all on the powerplay.
The Habs are being outshot 49 to 22 and outscored 5 to 1, at 5v5 with him on the ice.
Scoring on the PP is good, no doubt. Being terrible at 5v5 hockey isn't good.
Who knows. Maybe you try something big and trade Power for a guy like Sorokin so that at least the goaltending position is solidified. Similar contracts, and Lou has been known to make some wacky moves of his own. That's what I mean... what direction do you even take? I mean you look at Cozens... he's only 23, but on a $7.1 mil contract, and has 14 points in 32 games. Obviously underperforming, but what value are you going to get for him, that will help build the team in the future? Better off keeping him, and working towards him getting better in the future.
This isn't a team with a bunch of veterans that they can move for more picks... they are mostly a young group. If anything, they could use a veteran presence to stabilize the group, as well as some veteran D, to help guide the younger guys. They've got five D men, all 25 and under who have the most minutes... and then Connor Clifton who is typically getting the sixth most minutes. This just isn't good development.
