McBain would just be a great 3C for us.. but no chance they trade him. While I love the goal, you just hate to see the World's Best Defenseman, Lane Hutson get beat like that.

McBain's SO% is an absurd 44% on the season. Even if they did make him available, and whatever his other attributes, we'd be paying a premium for a guy whose offensive production is clearly unsustainable. There are better options, IMO. But, yeah... big yikes on that Hudson pinch.
