as long as we get Marner at a good price and he’s away from Matthews he’s more than fine

Good luck getting Marner at a good price AND keeping him away from Matthews.

I asked Santa for a million bucks and a new life for Christmas but that probably isn't gonna heppen either.

Yeah no to tkachuk we got a couple power forwards already we need a 2c Sam Bennett comes to my mind he’s the perfect center for us if we were gonna lose Marner a guy like tofolli would have been nice but he’s already in sj and honestly as long as we get Marner at a good price and he’s away from Matthews he’s more than fine

Exactly. The last thing we need are Brady's childish antics on the ice. Even Sens fans are beginning to sour on him. Bennett would be a good replacement for Marner when Mitch prices himself out of TO.

Is the media ever going to admit that maybe the "great young cores" of the Habs and Sens just maybe aren't that good?

How many more summers of hearing how great they are do we have to listen to?

Habs and Sens are the Kings of the East from July 1 to October 1st according to them

Pierre is long gone, and the Sens still had an amazing summer. Now if only the fall and winter months didn't get in the way.

Habs are not anywhere close to competing.

They have the makings of a decent 1b line but thats it. They desperately need an impact center that turns out better than Suzuki if they ever want to become a serious threat. They tried to speed some things up acquiring young guys like Dach and Newhook but theres a reason why the teams that drafted them were willing to part ways with them so quickly. Theyre not that good.

Agreed, I watched the Ottawa game last night. They are just not a good team. Tkachuk did spark the boys with a tilt. But it’s clear both those teams need a shake up.

Perhaps part of this is they are promoting their product, not evaluating the product.

They are selling this, and you know if someone is making money on something, they aren't going to tell you the truth.

Well I’m happy he didn’t go to the Habs

I thought it was a given seeing how the Habs again are at the bottom with all this all star talent they have drafted and traded for
