Maybe Tre keeps an eye on this situation. Scooping one of them up in the off-season would be nice.

I would want nothing to do with Ekblad. That will be a terrible anchor of a contract. I suspect that Bennett will sign with the Leafs regardless of what happens in Florida. He'll want to come home.

Yup. Boston and Tampa aged or capped out, and the crappy teams have somehow managed to get crappier. I would give Montreal a pass this season because they are earlier in the rebuild, but Ottawa, Detroit and Buffalo should be gutting their front offices and coaching staffs (in some cases, again). They are embarrassing at this point

Only way he gets traded is if he asks out so that will be a tough call for him as he will get some people not liking the fact that he asked to be traded.
