The only team standing between the Leafs and the Cup final is the Rangers. I don't think Florida will be the issue. I think the Rangers will get back to the ECF, and it will be against the Leafs. Win that series, and I think you win the Cup, because I'm not sure any team from the West can match up this season. I'm not sure there will be a better opportunity than this season.

There is no business where it "starts at the top". Generally speaking, the way you get to the top is by learning how to survive times like this. Monty will be the one to go. It won't make any difference given the roster, but it's the obvious next shoe to drop.
