How does Bedard only have 3 goals in 18 games? Does anyone watch his games?

I'd have to think he's either not getting to the dirty areas or maybe he doesn't have enough speed to get the separation he did in junior.

He's having a tough year, but there is a lot of talent in that kid. 29% on faceoffs this year... he needs some work, and some help.

Man the schedule maker must have been a Sens fan.

A rested Ottawa team gets to play Edmonton on the second half of a back to back their next game.

Followed by a rested Sens team getting to play Vegas on the second half of a back to back the following game.

I've had some dumb takes in my life.

But thinking Ovechkin wasn't gonna break Gretzky's record is looking be one of my dumbest. With only twenty eight more to go it's probably gonna happen this year. They should just re-name the Rocket Richard trophy after him once he retires.

Turns out I was pronouncing Liljegren's name right the whole time.

He's off to a pretty good start in San Jose. Good for him if he can keep it up. I'm still not convinced he'll ever amount to anything special.

But I've been wrong before in my prognostications.

Like thinking Shane Wright would ever amount to something. That whole 2022 draft is looking like a bust. There's still time to be proven wrong but anyone who thought Wright was gonna be a star is probably feeling a bit foolish right now.

The dumbest take on the entire internet is this one of mine though.

Always liked this guy and looks like he's taken the next step.

I'm as big a Gretzky fan as it comes, but I've always been a huge Ovechkin fan too. So as much as I've never wanted anyone to beat Wayne's "big" records, I'm all for seeing this one go down at this point.

To see a record go down in your lifetime not once, but potentially twice, in a span of 30+ years, is pretty damn special.

Don't worry. The Sens will probably blow both games unless Linus gets his head out of his ass.

Gretzky’s records have long said to be unbreakable too, so to see Ovi on track to do it in this modern era is incredible
