30 goals over his last 47 games is a 52 goal pace over 82 games.

Makes you wonder what was going on last season when he only had 8 goals after his first 43 games to start the year.
He looked like he fell off like a boxer last year but I guess he's still chugging away - the little engine that could.

He might sail to the record if he keeps going like this but I'm thinking at any moment he could drop to a fourth line novelty act overnight, and the record chase gets difficult to watch.

He only has one year on his contract after this season. I can't see a drop off that vast unless he plays for 4-5 more years.

He won't play that long.

Keefe's first western Canada trip as Devils coach goes like his first Western Canada trip here. Beat the Canucks, lose to the Flames, and than beat the Oilers.

Played pretty well with Marner back in London.
Played on the same team... did they play together very much? I don't think so.

He's really been a disappointment offensively, and coming off an offseason groin injury, he just isn't getting it done. Having said that, he barely got above PPG in the OHL, so perhaps it's not a surprise that he doesn't have much upside in the NHL. I recall plenty of people were interested in him, when he was with the Ducks though.

I don't know if he gets claimed or not, but he probably needs more time to get fully up to speed, after the injury. The Bruins just don't have much patience, and are trying to compete. One of his career problems have been injuries though....

Traded in package for Grabner to NYI. Seems like Toronto, NYI, and Tampa all dropped the bag with him.

Lou simply lost him in the mix before he had even fully graduated to the AHL. Still took him a long while to figure it out. Seem to recall he had a chance to rejoin the Leafs around 2020 after his first season in Tampa, but Kyle couldn't fit him in and he went to Florida. Oops, nice one.
