I Dont think there is a team in the atlantic that can win 2 games vs the panthers come playoffs

They look poisted to dominate the divisiom and comtend for another cup
I don't think they will make it out of the second round this year. Lots of miles on those legs at this point, which is not a criticism. Going to three Cup finals in a row is pretty rarified territory. I don't think this Panthers team has that quality to it.

I can't imagine anyone misses him. I never understood what people saw in the guy to want to resign him.
Not sure there were more than a handful of fans who wanted to re-sign him. And definitely not at the price point required to have done so.

Sad thing is that he has the potential to be so much more than he is.

Well, he had a good game.

Moved the puck well.

Was on the ice with Sharks net empty when they tied it up.

Ended the night +2, 16:57 TOI.

Sharks lost, but can't be blamed on him.
He's a player that needed a change of scenery.
Iam surprised that Edmonton didn't trade for him .
His outlet paces have always been good .
He is playing relaxed now.

- Michael Bunting - 12 games 0 goals 1 assist 1 point
- Nick Aube-Kubel, Pierre Engvall, Sam Lafferty, Matt Martin, Jimmy Vesey - 0 points

The Good
  • Adam Gaudette - An AHLer in Toronto off to an absolutely blazing start with 6 goals.
  • Ryan O'Reilly - The one that got away. At 4.5 Million, he's proven to be a great #1 Center for the Nashville Predators
  • Stefan Noesen - A surprise for me as he hardly played here, only a game. But he's turned into a player in recent years. A late bloomer.
  • Zach Aston-Reese - From a guy who was an AHLer last year, seems like he has revitalized his career.
  • Mason Marchment - Seems to fit like a glove in Dallas as a PWF presence.
  • Nick Foligno - Thought he was cooked in Toronto, he's been a good since joining Chicago and has been a great locker room presence for their team.
The Bad
  • Zach Hyman and Michael Bunting have had horrific seasons, both look awful. 3 points between both in a combined 23 games.
  • Tyler Bertuzzi - Has had another slow start, looks like we've made the right decision there.
  • Pierre Engvall - Spent most of the year with Bridgeport in the AHL. According to NYI fans he was very pedestrian in training camp.
  • Sam Lafferty - Has taken a big step backwards from his previous few seasons.
  • Ilya Mikheyev - Looks absolutely cooked.
  • Kasperi Kapanen - Has struggled to be an NHL starting forward the past few seasons.
Elsewhere - Leo Komarov in Finland; Mark Arcobello and Pontus Aberg in Switzerland; Andreas Johnsson, Nick Shore and Carter Ashton in Sweden; Josh Leivo, Alexander Barabanov and Kirill Semyonov are a PPG in the KHL, and Freddie Gauthier, Egor Korshkov, Dmytro Timashov and Alex Galchenyuk are in the KHL as well; Casey Bailey is still kicking around in Austria; Adam Brooks and Marcel Muller are in Germany. Travis Boyd, Scott Sabourin, Brett Seney and Dryden Hunt are in the AHL.
