What a shit show the Colorado goaltending is, I am genuinely surprised they didn't address it over the summer. Seems to be the one area of weakness for Sakic where he keeps trying to fill the position with bargain bin acquisitions. Although Avs won with Kuemper in net, he was pretty pedestrian, and in general they just haven't had a steady goaltending presence since Varlamov left.

I don't think they are going to put much emphasis on the regular season this year. You can already see it in the games against Ottawa and Buffalo. I think they want to try to repeat, and they won't kill themselves in the regular season.
