Not quite the playoffs push they were looking for. Caps are making the most of theirs. Reminds me of LL winning back to back GM awards and CF's - the odds of having such comparables in each situation. The 'bad luck' on poor Dubie is remarkable.

The parity the NHL craves so much is on full display.

But they kept saying it was bc of Trotz and also an easier path, lol.
It had nothing to do with Lou, lol.

Ofcourse then Lou destroyed the Islanders with all those contracts.


Bruins were bad on Sat, heck they were not good in the playoffs. It just so happened that Leafs were equally bad.
At the end Marchand and Pasta continued to beat us while our top guys just refused to be the thorn towards any other teams.
