What's tough for Buffalo is they need an injection of a 4x pack of good solid veteran leaders who can still play at a high level and bind it all together with the talent they have, but those guys get gobbled up by contenders. And Buffalo isn't high up there in terms of lifestyle and off ice niceties.

If the Leafs can handle business in a tidy way with no injuries and we can get through TB/Florida I think we’re going to the cup final. No one one on the other side of the bracket scares me. The ultimate wish would be Montreal getting in, going on a run and we end up with a Habs-Leafs ECF.

He is the trigger man and everything runs through him, and everyone looks forchim because he is far and away their best player.

On the Leafs, especially on the PP, you have Nylander and Matthews also out there who can score or will have the puck.

I love Pasta but I wonder if his point total would be about the same if he and Marner were swapped

No doubt but look at what he has to play with. Their two best dmen have been out since the 4 nations cup and they have nothing at C since the trade deadline.

The 22-23 Bruins were a significantly better team in all areas and scored ~80 more goals than the Bruins of this year, and 40 more than the Leafs of this year. That year he put up 113 points (only 7 more than current).
