Preds need to pull the trigger and hire Quenneville and let him evaluate the rest of the year.
I don't see how travel changes anything, and there's no real evidence that our division was weaker. We count the division wins from 2012-2013 the same as any, and it was even less games. I get the we're disappointed in our playoff record, but we really need to stop being so dismissive of all other accomplishments.Yes but playing a balanced schedule against every team in the league with a lot more travel makes up for the .30% points.
I count the Division win, but it is quite a bit more difficult to navigate through a full 82 game season
I agree with your last point.I don't see how travel changes anything, and there's no real evidence that our division was weaker. They were fooled by the exceptional season they had last year. Should have sold high but instead they bought high last summer. Now they’re stuck in no man’s land.Preds need to pull the trigger and hire Quenneville and let him evaluate the rest of the year.
Trotz doing his best Burkie, not being able to read the landscape correctly. They were fooled by the exceptional season they had last year. Should have sold high but instead they bought high last summer. Now they’re stuck in no man’s land.

Florida was never going to win that game.I have Tampa and Florida winning.
Ovi is an empty-netter abuser!
Maybe this is what they need to bring back those '93 vibes. So I guess we’re getting Detroit in the first round then.
They can fight each other for second play in the Atlantic, I guess, but Tampa will probably have a say in that discussion.Ottawa and Cats both lose and are still separated by 5 points
This looks reasonable, but I'm not sure I trust Detroit to hang on. That said, I would love to see the Leafs play Detroit in the first round. The leafs would destroy them.I think the east will end up like this:
Atlantic:
Metro:
- Toronto
- Florida
- Tampa
Wildcard:
- Washington
- Carolina
- NJ
So I guess we’re getting Detroit in the first round then. We will have to go through Tampa or Florida in order to get to the ECF, I think we all knew that already.
- Detroit
- Ottawa

It won't even be close. They will win the division by 7 or 8 pointsThey play like last night and the
Leafs could win the Atlantic.
