Yes but playing a balanced schedule against every team in the league with a lot more travel makes up for the .30% points.
I count the Division win, but it is quite a bit more difficult to navigate through a full 82 game season
I don't see how travel changes anything, and there's no real evidence that our division was weaker. We count the division wins from 2012-2013 the same as any, and it was even less games. I get the we're disappointed in our playoff record, but we really need to stop being so dismissive of all other accomplishments.

I agree with your last point.

But a full 82 game schedule is more meaningful.

I think the east will end up like this:
Atlantic:

  1. Toronto
  2. Florida
  3. Tampa
Metro:

  1. Washington
  2. Carolina
  3. NJ
Wildcard:

  1. Detroit
  2. Ottawa
So I guess we’re getting Detroit in the first round then. We will have to go through Tampa or Florida in order to get to the ECF, I think we all knew that already.

Ottawa and Cats both lose and are still separated by 5 points
They can fight each other for second play in the Atlantic, I guess, but Tampa will probably have a say in that discussion.

This looks reasonable, but I'm not sure I trust Detroit to hang on. That said, I would love to see the Leafs play Detroit in the first round. The leafs would destroy them.

They play like last night and the
Leafs could win the Atlantic.
