One bad week and suddenly you can find yourself out of a playoff spot. Toronto needs to put together some wins here.

Yeah I was surprised by Kaprisov's numbers as well, I guess I never really thought of him as that dynamic a goal scorer.
There are some names that are less than ppg that I found surprising.

We won't mention Marner or assists, we know where that will lead.

I agree with evilhomer, Ottawa will stumble (a little bit) but I had them picked as a WC team just by the addition of Ulmark. Hasn't exactly played out that way but I stand by my prediction. TB takes 3rd in the division.

I remember the post-lockout years well, and frankly what we’ve been doing with Matthews is barely better. The regular season is more enjoyable but the playoffs have been a joke. These Leafs on average only play for two weeks longer than the ones that always missed the postseason. The Leafs have traded being one perennial joke for another, being a team that always missed the playoffs to being one that’s always bounced in round one.

At least back then we knew the Leafs were bad. This core had so much promise attached to them and all they’ve done is disappoint. Only overachieving when it comes to contract negotiations.
