I haven't watched much Nashville hockey but if tonight is a typical example of how Ryan O'Reilly is playing these days, I'd say no thanks as a trade deadline acquisition.

Lot of wildcard teams are playing well right now, Ottawa, Columbus, Detroit, Islanders, and Boston is still hanging around.
One bad week and suddenly you can find yourself out of a playoff spot. Toronto needs to put together some wins here.

We should be glad that Ottawa wasted the past two years and didn’t find out if their players can play in the playoffs. With the Atlantic there for the taking it’s not the ideal time to be figuring out what you lack.

As poor as Matthews has been, he is still 1st in goals over past 82.( tied with Kaprizov).
Marner with 85 assists is pretty damn good too

Yeah I was surprised by Kaprisov's numbers as well, I guess I never really thought of him as that dynamic a goal scorer.
There are some names that are less than ppg that I found surprising.
We won't mention Marner or assists, we know where that will lead.
