The best part is one or two teams go on a hot streak, and then promptly lose 4 or 5 in a row while two other teams go on hot streaks. No team is pulling away from the pack.Wings win their 6th straight and move into the WC1 spot.

Who had the Red Wings and Blue Jackets as the two wild card teams? Long way to go but it's crazy Bos and TB are on the outside.Wings win their 6th straight and move into the WC1 spot.
The entire East is this way.The best part is one or two teams go on a hot streak, and then promptly lose 4 or 5 in a row while two other teams go on hot streaks. No team is pulling away from the pack.
Did anyone say that the Leafs were ramping up after they beat the Islanders twice in a row last month?
We also have one of the most road-heavy finishes in the league though. It's not going to be easy.
They can. There’s no way Ottawa can catch Florida, is there? They have two games in hand and two games against them.
Insane if the Sens win the division before the LeafsThey can.
Sens have the 6th best GAA in the league and the second softest games remaining, schedule wise.
Softest schedule thing isn’t worth measuring. They can.

The Leafs have never had a real opportunity to win it because one or two of the big three were always very strong teams.Insane if the Sens win the division before the Leafs
The Leafs will win the division by a big margin. Their remaining schedule is pretty easy.Didn't you predict we'd win the division by 10 points lol? 3 points back now. Better win our games in hand.
Ottawa will go on a 4 or 5 game losing streak. it's what all of the bubble teams do.They can.

Honestly the easy wild card race is incredible this year so far. So many teams have been in and out, and only really buffalo is out of it at this point
Yeah we sure know that feel. I don't wish that turd of a D on anyone's fanbaseI don't have anything against the Wings but I can't help but feel a little schadenfreude about this thread:
Not too many problems in Red Wings land these days.
The wins keep stacking up and some younger players are earning bigger roles!
But there is one big problem. It will be interesting to see what happens here and how quick the team moves to address this.
It doesn’t take an advanced scout to realize Holl is struggling terribly. The average fans heart is skipping beats every time Holl gets a shift.
With Petry out long term , I don’t think a serious team can continue to have Holl in the lineup for the next 2 months.
Not to pile on the guy. But what is the solution here ? Anyone...
