I’m fine with missing out as long as we make our own moves (there are better moves we could make too), but this deal and these two players could have definitely helped us quite a bit.

Unfortunately, he is very much on his own there. He is basically the entirety of Boston's offense at this point.

How many cups has he won?

His PPG in the playoffs is worse than Nylander and Matthews and that includes when he played on the perfection line.

His ppg is higher than any of our forwards

He has 87 pts in 90 games

He also has this over more than 1st round appearances (+1 second round) so does it against higher competition/tougher teams into the playoffs.

He hasnt won a cup but has gotten very close in 2019.

He is pretty good.
 
Unfortunately for Toronto, both Ottawa and Florida easily won their games tonight by blowing out their opponents. Ottawa is now four points back of Toronto and Florida is ahead of Toronto by a single point.

At least The Capitals and hurricanes lost tonight.

At this point, I really don't think there is any advantages finishing 1st in Conf or 1st in Division or 2nd in Division.

Rangers might be an opponent if finished 1st in Conf.
TB and Sens might be an opponent if finished 1st in Divison or 2nd in Division
 
Boston is 25th in shots per game, but Pastrnak leads the league in shots - 10% more than Brady Tkachuk at #2 and 25% more than Nylander at #8.

That's pretty crazy. He's helping Boston to try and stay relevant.

They're looking cooked though.

They really f***ed up on their goaltending situation.

Pastrnak is the one guy off Boston I don't dislike. Just a solid all around good player.
