Rangers gonna grab one of those spots for sure.

Pens look finished.

Malkin and Crosby a combined -38 with a combined 22 goals after 50 games.

That core along with Letang is aging out with no good young talent around them to do the heavy lifting.

Fighting for a playoff spot could be exactly what the Rangers need to go on a long run.

Senators have been shutout a whopping FIVE times this month.

They don't have a single player with over twenty goals. Looks like reality is setting back in. It's like when I wake up in the morning from a really good dream.

Only to look in the mirror and realize nothing's changed.

New owner, new GM, new coach. Still the same old loser team. They haven't even made the playoffs in seven years.

So hard to believe the Leafs only have one more series win than them that whole time.

At what point does Ottawa rebuild the rebuild. Start looking at moving on from some of the big names. Because right now they're one of the worst teams of all time.

The entire organization is pathetic.
I don't think Brady Tkachuk will be in Ottawa after this season.

His NMC takes effect in July. If they don't make a move, he'll run out his contract and walk. By then, Ottawa will have not seen playoff action for 10 years.

They should’ve hired a good coach last year.

Mitch Hedberg said it best - they used to be bad, they still are, but they used to be, too!

How anyone could look at Travis Green's record in Vancouver and think "this is the coach to lead our young stars to success" is beyond me.

Brady Tkachuk's my favourite non-Leafs player.

He's what I hope Knies turns into. Pretty much the only reason I watch Ottawa anymore is because of him. A couple years ago I had hopes they would turn it around but I've given up on them now and it wouldn't surprise me if he has too.

I'd trade the whole farm and half the roster to get him on the team.

I thought Aundlauer said he'd hire only the best (or something like that). Scraping the bottom of the barrel for a coach never works out.

Green's entire strategy starts with a stretch pass.

Then it's either dump in corner or shot on net. Engage in a board battle or scrum in front of net in order to get the whistle for the offensive zone faceoff. Put out someone who can score and hope they do.

If the puck goes the other way let the goalie handle it.

I was happy when they hired him figuring they’d continue to be a mess.

I lived in Ottawa for a while when I was younger, and went to a bunch of Senators games while I was out there, so I've always had a soft spot for them.

To be honest I got soft spot for all the Canadian teams. Even the french one. I like a few American teams too.

But not as much as I like the Canadian teams.
